It is quite accepted and proven that this type of photos is preferable to take between five and fifteen days after birth.
Around fifteen days they have their first growth crisis, of which they will have a few throughout their childhood. They are more irritable, they sleep less, their skin begins to peel and, most importantly, they lose much of that flexibility they enjoyed in the womb and which is essential to adopt those seemingly impossible postures.
The sooner the better! It is important not to wait to book at the last minute. I perform a certain number of newborn sessions per week and in no case two per day, we will take into account the approximate date of delivery, even so, according to my experience, babies usually do not arrive when predicted. For this reason I recommend booking at the latest at the beginning of the third trimester of pregnancy. So I can guarantee the approximate date.
I prefer these types of sessions to take place in my studio, where I have everything I need. The parents will be calm, and you will have privacy to be with your little one.
If there is one word that defines this type of session, it is patience. And when I say patience, I mean P A T I E N C E. We must be very calm and relaxed to transmit this same state to the baby. It will seem silly, but as I do more and more sessions I confirm this need.
Normally I schedule morning sessions around 10. The duration is around 2-4 hours, depending on the baby. This will allow us to take several breaks to feed and calm your baby. Each session is different, they are the ones who set the pace for us. The first thing you should know about me is that I don’t like rushing: if instead of 2-3, it took us 4… on my part, no problem. I will wait as long as it takes, as your well-being comes first. You will see how it is super enjoyable.

Yes, I have hats, baskets, blankets, fabrics and other accessories. 99% of the accessories that you see in the photographs, you have at your disposal for the session of your little one.
Normally we photograph babies without clothes, with a diaper or shorts, since this way we manage to focus only on him, the absolute protagonist of our photos and that nothing distracts us in the photograph. I have my own style and a clear idea for each photo. We have a variety of clothes for newborns. So don’t worry, just bring the newborns and if you have a pacifier too.
From the basic pack, yes. We always make a space for you to take that photo with your baby when he was barely a week old, and with older siblings … the same. Just let me know before hiring and on the day of the session I will give you the options that best suit you with the type of photography I take.
