Hello, welcome to Oswar Photography.
I am a father, husband and photographer! My passion for photography came into my life in an unusual way. In 2004 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, I remember the doctor telling me: Crohn’s disease is lifelong, chronic and has no cure…and stress can activate it, so look for something that will help you. controlling stress. And so let’s start them in photography. I made photography my best medicine and today I live from what was once my medicine.
Along this path I have done all types of photography, searching for my real passion, one day, more than 5 years ago, I found a perfect balance, maternity and newborn photography. There is my real passion, being able to capture the Motherhood stage for me is a privilege, a privilege that I love. Having the opportunity to take photos of one of the most beautiful stages of human life, those bellies posing, with their face full of love and his body forming a new life. It is the perfection of life! And the newborns! OMG so many things I can say about newborn photography. I am passionate about it, and believe me, to be a newborn photographer, you have to have passion, because newborn photography is complicated and delicate. It requires a lot of passion, structure, education and love for art. I have photographed more than 100 newborns and I can say that each new newborn is a new adventure.

In 2021 my first child was born, a beautiful modern miracle, because in addition to having Crohn’s disease, ADHD, I also have fertility problems, so my son is an IVF baby. The whole process was a new experience and adventure. Once the miracle happened, my moment arrived, for which I had practiced, taking photos of my pregnant wife! What a great privilege! That’s why I can assure you that yes, you have to take photos of your pregnancy! If you don’t, you’ll regret it! And then my son was born, premature and weighing only 5 pounds. You don’t know how many times he cried while he took photos of him, and you don’t know how much he cried when he saw how he has grown! So I guess I don’t have to tell you why you have to take photos of your newborn child.

In short, today I am dedicated to maternity and newborn photography in the city of Jacksonville, Florida. Awarded Best Maternity and Newborn Photographer in Florida. Voted Top 3 Photographers in Jacksonville, Florida! But my greatest reward is seeing the beauty of motherhood with my lens.

Oswar Photography's signature specialty is studio newborn photography for babies between 5 and 14 days old — the golden window when newborns are most naturally sleepy, flexible, and suited to the gentle poses that create truly timeless portraits. Sessions include multiple setups with custom wraps, props, color themes, and parent/sibling groupings. Every session is unhurried: Oswar schedules a maximum of one newborn session per day and a limited number per week to give each family his complete attention.
